This is a story about a rare illness called M.S.A. It speaks about my brother's life and how we dealt with all the stages of this incurable disease. I wrote this book in order to help families and caregivers so they will not be as scared as I was while my brother and I lived through this. Terry's fight to get help for her brother with home health aide and caregivers, is agonizing because it is so rare that doctors don't recognize it for what it is and misdiagnose, thus making the situation even harder. Since her brother had limited abilities anyway, this was even more difficult for her as the primary caregiver. I ordered this book because I connected with Terry's blog on an MSA facebook page. My sister was diagnoseds with MSA a few years earlier. She passed away in early March 2014 and Terry's brother Al passed in late March. I was not my sister's primary caregiver, but saw the struggles my brother-in-law was having. This book is simple and to the point and Terry's heart pouring out onto the pages.
